What is Education for Safeguarding?
Our Education 4 Safeguarding curriculum is based on the Department for Education Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) guidance and other national frameworks including the PSHE association. Our curriculum is designed to support all our children to develop the knowledge and skills to keep safe in a complex and challenging world.
At Ashurst Wood we have looked at our contextual data and developed a curriculum that meets the current needs of our children and community. The E4S curriculum changes in response to the needs of our children and is continually developing to current need.
The SRE curriculum was developed through a working party of staff, parents and governors in 2021 and a summary of E4S can be found below.
